We have been using essential oils recently in the house and have tried numerous blends/fragrances. The basil one has an earthy / herbal smell to it which is nice and soothing. My wife uses this one while working from home in hopes that the benefit of staying on track when feeling fatigued will help. She thinks it has probably made a difference in her alertness during the day but not more than a cup of coffee would. But, the benefit of having some level of alertness and focus without having to drink a coffee is something that can’t be overlooked.
In addition to the health/mental benefits of these oils, they also act as a room freshener or deodorizer. After running this in our diffuser for a few hours the entire downstairs of the house is filled with the pleasant aroma. This is the 3rd Davina oil I have used and so far they have all been great.

This is a decent basil essential oil! I purchased this to make candles (I blended it with lime for a spicy, green, citrusy scent). I also used this as an ingredient in a pain salve I made for my mom. I do have other basil essential oils to compare to. This oil seems to stack up. I used it in my candles as an uplifting scent, they came out great. My husband likes to light it while hes getting ready for work, says its an energizing scent! Hes never much interested in lighting my candles, so he must really like it! I like that the seller provided me with the GC/MS results.
